"I cannot tell you how much John Ford and I enjoy your book, "Beginners-Only". Everything is presented in a delightfully lucid manner. It is crammed with information while remaining interesting and entertaining throughout. We are both fortunate to include it in our dance librarites. We will deposit one copy in the Harvard University Library, Theatrical Department. Another copy will go to the Barry University Dance Department where we are both professors. Thank you again. Sincerely, Marguerite Hanlon."

"Dance lessons are one of the only things I could buy once and be able to use for the rest of my life"
Dear Allen,
You are a great teacher, your patience and grace captivated me while in your arms during our lessons. I hope we can dance again some time. In the meantime, I wish you well and all the happiness.
